Meet our wonderful Vet Nurses & Support Team
You can’t have a great animal hospital without great nurses and healthcare support staff. Lucky for the animal patients of upper North Shore vet clinic Fox Valley Animal Hospital, every single member of staff is chosen for their positive attitude towards patients of both the animal and human variety.
Each senior nurse at Fox Valley Animal Hospital has completed the Certificate II in Animal Studies and the Certificate IV in Animal Nursing. This includes an 8 hour a week practical training regime together with full program of study at TAFE. A happy and positive workplace means many of the senior nurses have almost a decade worth of experience behind them, and each has a minimum of four years dedicated service a vet nurse.
Senior Vet Nurse
Louise has over 10 years experience in veterinary nursing in all areas including surgical, emergency and general practice. She joined the team in 2015 and has been working part time in between raising her 3 daughters. She also has 3 furry kids, Rocky and Enzo the keplies and Cleo the cat. In her spare time she likes to go to the beach, find fun new recipes to experiment with in the kitchen as well as work on her floral business.
Client Care Manager & Animal Attendant
Jayne joined us back in 2011 as a Work Experience Volunteer for her schooling. After a few shorts months she became a permanent member of staff and is now here with us full time. She specialises in being “mum” to all of our adoption kittens and often takes them home for the weekend for some extra TLC. She also has her own pooch, a 16 year old poodle mix named Snoopy. They love spending time together at the beach. Jayne always has a cheerful smile when greeting you and your furry friends at reception.
