You can’t have a great animal hospital without great nurses and healthcare support staff. Lucky for the animal patients of upper North Shore vet clinic Fox Valley Animal Hospital, every single member of staff is chosen for their positive attitude towards patients of both the animal and human variety.

Each senior nurse at Fox Valley Animal Hospital has completed the Certificate II in Animal Studies and the Certificate IV in Animal Nursing. This includes an 8 hour a week practical training regime together with full program of study at TAFE. A happy and positive workplace means many of the senior nurses have almost a decade worth of experience behind them, and each has a minimum of four years dedicated service a vet nurse.

Meet Our Nurses:

Jess – Practice Manager & Senior Vet Nurse – Joined us here at FVAH in 2010 as a Junior Nurse, still studying her Cert IV Vet Nursing at Tafe. She has been a qualified Veterinary Nurse since 2011. Jess is owned by 3 horses, Katie, River & Koby, a labrador named Holly & Luna the Golden Retriever.

Louise – Senior Vet Nurse – Has over 10 years experience in veterinary nursing in all areas including surgical, emergency and general practice. She joined the team in 2015 but briefly left to raise her two daughters and has now returned part time. She has 2 keplies, Enzo & Rocky and a furry feline named Cleo.

Jayne – Animal Attendant – Joined us back in 2012 as a Work Experience Volunteer for her schooling. After a few shorts months she became a permanent member of staff and has been our wonderful Saturday nurse ever since. She specialises in being “mum” to all of our adoption kittens.


Grooming services:

Upper North Shore vet clinic Fox Valley Animal Hospital approaches animal health and wellness from a full spectrum approach. That’s why we offer dog grooming and de-shedding at the Pooch Parlour. 

We also offer a cat adoption service  for many residents in the Wahroonga, Turramurra, Normanhurst, Thornleigh and Westleigh areas.
