Fox Valley Animal Hospital Kitten Adoption Program
At Fox Valley Animal Hospital, we actively participate in finding new homes for unwanted cats and kittens by offering them for pet adoption from our Wahroonga veterinary surgery. Each one of our available feline adoptees have been vet checked and are of a suitable age to find their fur-ever home. Many of these adorable and adoptable kitty’s come from feral or stray cat colonies and are part of TNR programs aimed to reduce the feral population and protect our native wildlife.
As part of our commitment to pet adoption and re-homing, we also support:

The RSPCA and other certified animal welfare centres who help rescue pets find new families through pet adoption and animal re-homing.

Proper owner education and de-sexing – minimising the amount of puppies, dogs, kittens and cats that need to be rescued each year begins with animal lovers. That’s why we support de-sexing, micro-chipping and proper animal registration.
What are the benefits of pet adoption?
Pet adoption is a great choice for any family looking for a new addition of the fur-kid variety. By adopting a pet, you help give all kinds of animals a happier experience in life.
Pet adoption helps animals by:

Saving unwanted litters and animals from facing euthanasia.

Reducing the appeal of backyard breeding and puppy mills by reducing demand.

Each animal rescued comes de-sexed which stops the cycle of over-population and unwanted litters.

Giving an animal a new chance at life.
Many of the menageries found at Fox Valley Animal Hospital are rescue pets, so we know firsthand the joy a pet adoption can bring.
